The Well Academy presents about new IWCF Level 5 course in Celle.
The Well Academy is presenting at the Drilling Conference in Celle, Germany.
Under the theme “Gearing Up for Recovery” professionals from academia and industry discuss the future of drilling technology, with a special emphasis on land drilling applications. Spread over two days, seven sessions will focus on drilling optimization and dynamics, drilling fluids and borehole hydraulics, cementing, well integrity, geomechanics, drilling simulation and automation and hammer drilling. Additional sessions are included from the Project GeoWell, a network funded by the European Union, on geothermal well design, material properties, casings, cement, well monitoring and risk assessment.
Ivo Nijhuis, development director at The Well Academy, presented an insight into the IWCF Level 5 curriculum, a new training course that we plan to launch later this year. The Well Academy and the Bohrmeisterschule, located in Celle, partner in the development and rollout of this training program in Germany.
